Caesarstone: The Perfect Kitchen Ally

One of the most active areas in a kitchen is the countertop. This is why it is important to choose the right materials that can hold up to whatever the kitchen can throw at it. Currently, manufacturers develop counters of both natural and synthetic materials that perfectly meet all requirements and also offer a variety of finishes and colors.

To choose the best option, you need to know the properties of various materials. The countertop is exposed to impact, cuts, abrupt changes in temperature and grease, oil, acid, and all types of other conditions. Therefore, it must meet some essential requirements such as: strength, durability, ease of cleaning and, in addition, decorative aesthetics. One of the classic choices for the countertop is granite, but in recent years there are other materials that have gained popularity. The most successful alternative so far is the quartz countertops. Ceasarstone is one of the most reputable quartz manufacturers.

 Resistant and Reliable

Quartz is one of the strongest materials in nature, resistant to stains, scratches, and cracks. Caesarstone quartz surfaces are resistant to heat and cold, as well as everyday chemicals. This makes them durable enough for residential or commercial kitchens.

Quartz has undoubtedly become one of the most popular material for kitchens in recent years. Its characteristics, in terms of strength and hardness, are greater than those of granite. Quartz emerged in the early 90’s, and in its composition is made up of 93% natural quartz. Because it is not porous, it is quite resistant to the most common blemishes of daily use. Caesarstone has 7% pigment and resin, making it solid and durable.

Easy Cleaning

Caesarstone quartz is natural, but instead of a slab, like granite, it is composed of small pieces with added pigments. The result is much more uniform and aesthetic, unlike other materials; it gives a uniform finish and an elegant complement in the kitchen.

This material is approximately 17 times less porous than granite and, therefore, much less prone to staining. It does not require any maintenance, either. You can easily keep it clean with soap and water.

Unique Designs

Caesarstone does a very good job keeping up with the current design trends. They have designers working on creating new designs all the time. Some of the Caesarstone color designs will be unique to Caesarstone. Adamina Quartz, and Georgian Bluffs are are some of those unique designs Caesarstone came up with recently.

Cleaning and Maintenance

In high traffic areas and work surfaces, the kitchen it is essential to maintain cleanliness and health. Caesarstone quartz surfaces prove to be easy to care for with accessible products. For the vast majority of stains, a light cleaning with soap and water, or a mild detergent, is sufficient to ensure shine and spotlessness.

For specific accidents and stains, the following procedures are recommended:

  • A neutral pH detergent is recommended for tough stains, rinse with cold water and towel dry.
  • For grease stains, dilute a small amount of detergent in water and let it act for about one minute before rinsing with cold water and drying.
  • To remove already hardened adhesives, it is necessary to scrape the excess with a plastic spatula and then apply detergent or adhesive remover on the surface.
  • Avoid using alkaline products with a pH greater than 8.5. These include oven cleaners, dishwashing liquid, or paint removers.
  • It is recommended not to cut food directly on the surface. Though your countertop likely won’t become damaged, your knives can dull very quickly.
