Everything You Need to Know About Bar Sinks

Bar sinks, also called prep sinks or wet bar sinks, are essential for maximizing efficiency in kitchens, islands, home bars, and entertainment areas. Smaller than traditional kitchen sinks, bar sinks are designed to fit compact spaces while delivering everyday functionality. At Columbus Granite, we offer a carefully curated selection of stylish, durable, and affordable bar sinks to suit your project’s layout and style.

Why Bar Sinks Matter

Bar sinks offer added convenience for secondary prep, rinsing, or drink preparation—without taking up much space. They’re perfect for islands, small kitchens, beverage zones, or outdoor entertaining areas. Their smaller footprint and sleek design make them versatile, whether you need a minimalist look or additional utility outside the main sink area.

Our Most Popular Bar Sink: L-UZ102X

The L-UZ102X model is our most popular stainless steel bar sink. It features a brushed satin finish that hides water spots and fingerprints, while its minimalist form complements any stone countertop. Compact and efficient, this European-style sink fits most bar and island cabinets with ease.

Need a Larger Option? Consider the 2318 Models

For customers who prefer a larger prep or bar sink, we offer the SINKFAB2318 (oval/rounded corners) and SINKCR2318 (square corners). These models are technically kitchen sinks, but many customers choose to install them in wet bar areas for added functionality. They fit standard 24″ sink base cabinets and are available in our Kitchen Sinks Catalog.

All Sinks Are 18-Gauge Stainless Steel

All bar sinks carried by Columbus Granite are crafted from premium 18-gauge stainless steel, which offers a superior balance of strength, quietness, and durability. Thinner sinks (such as 20- or 22-gauge) may feel flimsy and are more prone to denting or vibration. 18-gauge stainless steel resists daily wear while offering a solid, professional feel under use. We do offer 16 gauge upgrades available upon order.
