CAN I USE WINDEX ON QUARTZITE?
Windex should not be used to clean any natural stone, including quartzite. Windex is recommended for manmade stones (quartz countertops) only.
HOW IS QUARTZITE COUNTERTOPS SEALED?
Sealing quartzite countertops is no different than sealing granite countertops. Pour some sealer on the surface of the stone, let the stone absorb some of the sealers, and wipe off the remainder. Even though you can seal your quartzite countertops yourself, we would recommend that you hire a professional to seal your quartzite countertops.
IS IT COMMON TO HAVE CRACS (FISSURES) ON QUARTZITE COUNTERTOPS?
Yes, it is common that quartzite countertops will have extreme veins. We always recommend that you inspect your slabs, and approve the final layout prior to fabrication.
